Gloucestershire Gourmets Hash House Harriers

GGH3 run every Thursday at 7pm and many enjoy a meal in the pub afterwards.
Hashers span all ages and abilities. A hash is a sociable fun-run, not a race, but you may end up getting cold, wet, muddy or even lost!

1903 Thu 20-Jun-24 3 Rising Sun Moseley Green, nr Parkend, Forest of Dean, GL15 4HN As start 19 A short trail on the longest day. Idyllic wood & lake scenery, kept the FRs guessing. A great pub (with decent food). Why the 26 year break?? Dr Jeckyll + Dyldo

1901 Thu 06-Jun-24 1 Odessa off A38, just South of Tewkesbury, GL20 7DA As start 35 Virgin venue. Name related to Crimean War: topical I guess, it being D-Day 80th Anniv. Pleasing & flat, unfamiliar 5.5m trail via Odda's Chapel & an 'Angel'. Florence + Torchy
1900 Thu 30-May-24 1 Car park (beware 2.5m height barrier) off B4066, Coaley Peak area, nr turning to Nympsfield, W3W: mimes.loom.cookers As start 36 1st time from ideal picnic site with glorious views. Sunny but cool, ~3.5m trail, down to the bottom & back up through Coaley Wood. Hash BBQ with nosh provided. Physy Blonde + OS + Kermit
1899 Thu 23-May-24 14 Black Horse Cranham, GL4 8HP As start 25 Cool, dry (apart from some boggy bits), scenic, devious, ~4m loop in direction of Sheepscombe. Newly reopened, revamped community-run pub. Very promising. Ratatouille + Batty Bat + Doris
1898 Thu 16-May-24 6 The Hog The Cross, Horsley, nr Nailsworth, GL6 0PR As start 19 Hot, hilly, fast, sawdust trail (had to squint at times) covering some unfamiliar territory. Hare admitted to using an electric mountain bike! Brook Bond
1897 Thu 09-May-24 5 Greyhound Longlevens, Gloucester, GL2 0XH As start 17 Hash-friendly pub (C2H3 are here on Mon!). Warm & dry at last. Speedy 4m trail around Innsworth + new housing estates. Back over hump-backed footbridge. Dr Jeckyll + Dyldo
1896 Thu 02-May-24 5 Bathurst Arms off A435, North Cerney, nr Cirencester, GL7 7BZ As start 19 Jokingly billed as ROTY but really was a good scenic trail, mud and all, via Rendcomb. Low turnout so ample space in the pub. Batty Bat + Doris
1895 Thu 25-Apr-24 3 Churchdown Club Church Road, Churchdown, nr Gloucester, GL3 2ER As start 29 Up and around a surprisingly benign (dryish) Hill. Slight trail confusion after the trig point. V good beers, any point returning to the Old Elm just across ? Krishna + Goldilocks
1894 Thu 18-Apr-24 1 Clavell & Hind Tap Room Unit 2, Elmstone Bs Pk, Piff's Elm (nr Old Spot), GL51 9SY As start 27 Snazzy, worthy successor to the Birdlip premises! A/C loop on some virgin paths. Right-of-way dispute at Slate Mill Farm, the farm dog followed & got lost... Carloss + Dyldo
